About the Internship
This internship supports the Advancing Decent Work in Bangladesh (ADWIB) Project, focusing on aligning Bangladesh’s labour laws with International Labour Standards (ILS) and strengthening awareness and capacity among government, employers, workers, legal practitioners, and academics.
You will gain hands-on experience in:

Labour law reform research and technical legal analysis

Supporting workshops, trainings, and stakeholder dialogues

Assisting tripartite constituents in engaging with ILO supervisory mechanisms

Drafting reports, briefs, and related documentation
Candidate Profile
Education:
-
LL.B required (final year or recently completed).
-
LL.M in Labour Law, Human Rights, or International Law is an advantage.
Experience:

Legal research, drafting, and report writing.

Experience supporting trainings is helpful.
Languages:
-
Bangla & English (strong writing skills required).
Competencies:

Teamwork, communication, adaptability in international/multicultural settings.
Stipend & Conditions

Monthly stipend provided (based on local cost of living).

Travel to duty station is self-funded.

Interns must arrange their own health insurance.

Only first-time ILO interns eligible, and candidates must not have close relatives in the ILO.
